After the victimization of 25 individuals due to the nightclub’s fire on December 6, both nightclub proprietors (Saurabh Luthra/Gaurav) are alleged to have vacated to Thailand. Roy L. Goel noted that on the morning of the 6th just hours after the fire incident, the suspects travelled on to their Indigo airline (flight # 6E1073) from the airport of Goa departing for Phuket. Goel also suspects that the duo could be evading their apprehension by leaving the country.

Two Suspects Left India A Short While After the Deadly Fire Occurred
Police indicate that the fire broke out just after midnight on Saturday evening, December 6, about 25 km from Panaji. The blaze claimed the lives of 20 employees and five tourists. It included four tourists from New Delhi.
On December 6, after the lodging of the first information report (FIR), Goa Police immediately released a Look Out Circular against the owners. However, soon after, immigration officials discovered that the two suspects had boarded Indigo flight 6E 1073 to Phuket at approximately 5:30 a.m. on December 6.
Requesting Support from Interpol
In an announcement, the officer in charge said, “We are working with the Interpol Branch of the CBI to apprehend these two fugitives abroad.” The officer added, “Our teams are working diligently to locate and apprehend Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra.”
The Goa Police Department dispatched a team of investigators to Delhi in search of the two men’s homes. However, the investigators were unable to find either follower of the manhunt. In addition, signs have been posted at their respective residences. This indicated they are not complying and do not wish to be located.

According to authorities, nearly all of the deceased were employed by the nightclubs where they were killed. In addition, the remaining five deceased vacationers were enjoying a leisure trip to Goa. Currently, there are five injured victims receiving treatment at the Goa Medical College and Hospital.
On June 15, 2015, authorities stated, “We have completed autopsies on all 25 deceased and have returned their remains to their family members.”
