However, as the group neared the Delhi border on Monday, police detained around 120 protesters, citing restrictions in place until October 5.

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi criticized the detention, calling it “unacceptable.” He further slammed the central government for silencing peaceful protesters who are advocating for Ladakh’s future. Similarly, Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) condemned the police curfew, labeling it “very bad.”
