RFID Wristbands Aid in Crowd Management
Pilgrims receive RFID wristbands to facilitate efficient crowd management. These wristbands track movement across the 45-day event, helping authorities monitor entry and exit times with participants’ consent. This system enables effective regulation of crowds and ensures the safety of attendees.
AI Chatbot Assists Pilgrims in Multiple Languages
The “Kumbh Sah’AI’yak” application, an AI-based chatbot operating in 11 languages, provides pilgrims with information related to the Maha Kumbh Mela. This digital assistant offers real-time assistance, ensuring visitors have access to essential details during the event.
Virtual Reality Stalls Offer Immersive Experiences
Virtual reality stalls set up across the mela grounds allow devotees to experience key events like the Ganga Aarti and Peshwai procession. These 360-degree VR experiences enable pilgrims to relive significant moments of the festival, enhancing their spiritual journey.
Enhanced Connectivity and Digital Services
Despite the technological advancements, some attendees face challenges with internet connectivity, limiting access to Kumbh apps. Efforts are ongoing to improve digital infrastructure to ensure all pilgrims can benefit from the Digi Kumbh services.
