Bengaluru Family Massacre: 7 Members Killed

A shocking case of multiple killings has emerged from Bengaluru, where a man identified as Indushekar has been arrested for allegedly murdering seven members of his wife’s family following prolonged domestic disputes.

The incident reportedly took place at the accused’s residence in the Srirampura area, near Bashyam Circle in Rajajinagar. Police suspect that the killings occurred over two days, with the bodies allegedly disposed of at different locations.

Who Were the Victims?

The victims have been identified as the accused’s wife, Sunitha; mother-in-law, Roopavathi; brothers-in-law, Shivakumar and Shankar; their wives, Divya and Nalini; and seven-year-old nephew, Puneeth.

According to preliminary police findings, the accused allegedly attacked the victims using a grinding stone. Police have recovered Puneeth’s body near Nandi Hills in Chikkaballapur district, while search operations continue to locate the remaining bodies.

Police suspect that frequent arguments between Indushekar and Sunitha over her visits to her parental home may have contributed to the incident.

The couple had reportedly been married for around 20 years. Despite attempts by family members to resolve their differences, tensions allegedly continued.

Investigators believe the accused first killed his wife and later invited other family members to his house under different pretexts. In one instance, he allegedly invited his brothers-in-law for a party.
