Om Prakash Murder Case: In a shocking incident from Bengaluru on Sunday afternoon, Pallavi allegedly killed her husband Om Prakash. He was formerly the Karnataka Director General of Police (DGP) and also a retired IPS officer. This event took place at their higher-end home in HSR Layout.
Misfortune at Home
According to police reports, the event happened at approximately 4 PM on the first level of the three-story home. Om Prakash, 68 years-old, was allegedly engaged in a heated argument with Pallavi over lunch. It is alleged that the heated argument resulted in violence that led to the fatal assault.
Pallavi stands accused of assaulting her husband victims, stabbing him several times with two kitchen knives. Bruises and cuts were seen primarily on his neck and back of the head. The case is being managed by DCP (Southeast) Sarah Fathiema. Also, Pallavi is in custody, and is being questioned at HSR Layout police station. There were other relatives present there too, including their daughter and daughter-in-law who have all been questioned, and from preliminary investigations, they are not believed to be connected to the crime.

The deceased’s body has been taken to St. John’s Medical College Hospital, where it is being kept cold until the post-mortem exam on Monday is performed. The results of the post-mortem will determine the nature of the various injuries sustained and the sequence in which they occurred.
