There he met with Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Italy’s President Sergio Mattarella. It was to further strengthen bilateral ties between India and Italy. PM Modi’s Travel to FAO and Meeting with Italian PM

PM Modi will make an official visit to the headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Rome, Italy. This will be for an official visit before traveling on to other European countries. It will be part of a two-week trip that will begin in Oslo, Norway, for the third Indio-Nordic summit and encompass several stopovers in Germany and France and also the 2024 G7 Summit in June. Also, this trip to Rome will help boost bilateral trade between India and Italy. It has been growing steadily in recent years, with the Indian government focusing on enhancing India’s exports to other countries and working to retain competitiveness against increased foreign competition.
