Pokémon Go continues to excite its global community through its well-loved Pokémon Go April Community Day events. April 2025 will be no exception. During this three-hour special event, trainers will get a chance to catch Vanillite and enjoy bonuses, special moves, and fun rewards. Featured Pokémon: Vanillite in the Spotlight
On Sunday, April 27, 2025 between 2 PM and 5 PM in your local time zone, Vanillite will be dominant in the wild in Pokémon Go. This is a great time to collect Candy and to hunt for a Shiny Vanillite with a much higher catch rate from Vanillite showing up in the wild.
Vanillite will be able to evolve once into Vanillish with 25 Candy and then evolve it again into Vanilluxe, for 100 Candy. To help you collect Candy, it is highly recommended to Mega Evolve an Ice-type Pokémon while the event is live.
Special Move: Avalanche
Community Days are known for offering special moves and this month does not disappoint. If you evolve Vanillish into Vanilluxe from the event time until May 4, 2025 (10 PM local time), your Vanilluxe will receive the powerful Charged Attack: Avalanche. Did you mess up and don’t get it during event time? Not to worry – you can train it with an Elite Charged TM afterwards.
Lots of Bonuses: Extra Reasons to Play
April’s Community Day has lots of bonuses:
- 3x XP for catching Pokémon.
- 2x Candy for every catch.
- Double the chances to get Candy XL.
- Lure Modules and Incense will be up for 3 hours.
- Random encounters from Snapshots.
