Pakistan PMO Publishes Edited SCO Family Photo

The group picture was taken at the SCO Summit in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Here leaders of ten countries gathered after a summit session.

However, the image posted by the PMO of Pakistan appeared to be edited and did not feature PM Narendra Modi and his Iranian counterpart Masoud Pezeshkian as well as other leaders.
The image went viral in no time as netizens accused the official social media team of Pakistan of editing it intentionally.

PM Modi Posts the Original Image

Soon after the dispute arose, PM Narendra Modi posted the unedited SCO family picture on social media.
The real photograph showed the participants, with Shehbaz Sharif far away from the center. Unlike the image presented by Pakistan.

After the backlash, Shehbaz Sharif posted the comprehensive photograph on his own account on X.

Reactions from Social Media to the Altered Photograph

The digitally modified photograph gained a lot of attention online. Many people compared it to the original post from India.

Also, many social media users criticized the Pakistan digital team for making unnecessary changes driven by political interest. There were memes and repeated altered versions of the picture shared on the Internet.
The issue has become one of the widely discussed recent developments of the SCO Summit.

Other Significant Developments at the SCO Summit

In addition to the picture issue, various communications between different leaders were also very interesting in Bishkek.

The Impactful Statement Made by PM Modi Regarding Terrorism
