This transaction comes to be one of the most expensive deals in residential real estate in India. It points to the increasing craze for premium homes in Delhi-NCR area.
Who is Manav Sardana?
Manav Sardana is an entrepreneur who is connected with the company, Imperial Auto Industries. It is a well-known manufacturer of automotive and off-highway parts that is based in Faridabad, Haryana.
He is the son of S.B. Sardana, who is the co-founder of Imperial Auto Industries. He started with Jagjit Singh in 1969. Manav Sardana has always stayed connected with the family business. Also, he is serving as a director to many companies associated with Imperial Auto group.
₹271 Crore Penthouse Deal
Furthermore, the penthouse purchased by Sardana is said to consist of 17,200 sq ft of super area and 10,500 sq ft of carpet area.
Looking at the amount involved in the transaction, the cost involved in the property comes out to ₹1.58 lakhs per sq ft on super area and approximately ₹2.6 lakhs per sq ft on carpet area.
So, the two sources acquainted with the transaction stated that it was the biggest transaction in residential real estate in India to date.

The Dahlias Attracts India’s Elite
The Dahlias has emerged as one the country’s most luxurious residential real estate projects. Also, the investor Madhusudan Murlidhar Kela bought a flat for over ₹120.71 crore in April 2026, making it the most expensive residential real estate purchase in India.
The former Indian cricketer, Shikhar Dhawan, bought the flat for approximately ₹69 crore in February 2025.
The businessman from Delhi-NCR made a purchase of 4 flats there for about ₹380 crores in October 2025.
The Dahlias was officially launched by DLF in October 2024. The total area of the project is about 7.5 million sq ft, with around 420 flats in 29 stores and eight towers.
